Canmore WWTP – Neutralox Photoionization Odour Control
The Canmore Photoionization (PI) Unit is now fully commissioned and we are proud to have been a key part of this project.
From our very first meeting in December 2023 to commissioning in August 2025, the project moved from concept to completion in less than two years.
Delivering on Performance
The PI unit is now eliminating foul air odours at the biosolids loadout facility at the WWTP.
A Timeline of Milestones
Here’s how the project came together:
- December 7, 2023 – Lunch & Learn with CIMA+
- February 24, 2024 – Visited Canmore WWTP to review opportunity
- September 9, 2024 – Visited another local Neutralox installation
- September 16, 2024 – First budget proposal provided
- October 25, 2024 – Received Air Quality Sampling Analysis Report
- November 14, 2024 – Received order for equipment
- April 17, 2025 – Equipment arrived onsite
- June 25, 2025 – Equipment start-up
- August 5, 2025 – Equipment commissioning completed
