Canmore WWTP – Neutralox Photoionization Odour Control

The Canmore Photoionization (PI) Unit is now fully commissioned and we are proud to have been a key part of this project.

From our very first meeting in December 2023 to commissioning in August 2025, the project moved from concept to completion in less than two years.

Delivering on Performance

The PI unit is now eliminating foul air odours at the biosolids loadout facility at the WWTP.

  2. February 24, 2024Visited Canmore WWTP to review opportunity
  3. September 9, 2024Visited another local Neutralox installation
  4. September 16, 2024First budget proposal provided
  5. October 25, 2024Received Air Quality Sampling Analysis Report
  6. November 14, 2024Received order for equipment
  7. April 17, 2025Equipment arrived onsite
  8. June 25, 2025Equipment start-up
  9. August 5, 2025Equipment commissioning completed
